WELCOME TO THE APOSTLES' TESTIMONY OF THE SECOND COMING
WELCOME TO THE APOSTLES' TESTIMONY OF THE SECOND COMING
Christianity Fails After WWII,
God’s Call to Go to Communist North Korea
August 15, 1945 to June 6, 1946
Rev. Sun Myung Moon was born on January 6, 1920.
On April 17, 1935, during Easter week, he received the call and anointing from Jesus Christ to fulfill the mission of replacing the fallen Adam and establishing God’s True Lineage, thus laying the foundation for God’s Kingdom on earth.
Rev. Moon spent years studying the Bible and researching, having constant revelations from God, Jesus, and Biblical figures.
God had tried to prepare the Christians worldwide for 2,000 years to receive the Second Coming of Christ. In particular, God chose a new nation (Matthew 21:43) of strongly religious and suffering peoples (similar in nature to the Jewish people) to receive the Second Coming of Christ in the flesh. That nation was Korea and its people received countless prophecies and spiritual guidance to lead them to the Messiah.
The only testimony this Section 1 is by Su Won Chung. It gives details of his grandmother, Seung Do Kim, who received many revelations and established a large movement of people waiting for the Second Coming in the flesh.
That’s only one example but there were many, many others. Unfortunately, none of the followers of those early movements became faithful Apostles of Rev. Moon that endured.

In particular there were six groups that received specific heavenly guidance: three women’s groups in the west and three men’s groups in the east.
At the end of this book in Section 5, Additional Material, there is an article titled Unification Church History by Nora Spurgin. It elaborates on many of the spiritual movements in Korea that were also prepared to meet the Messiah.
When World War II ended on August 15, 1945, Rev. Moon began reaching out to many of those religious leaders. Although many received that Sun Myung Moon was special, they never sought God’s guidance, nor made the leap of faith that a person is required to make to meet the Messiah.
Politically as well, Rev. Moon was very active in trying to influence the formation of the new nation of Korea and the leadership groups.
Unfortunately, history repeated itself. Those prepared like John the Baptist may have given witness to the Christ, but they failed to become Apostles. Also the establishment faith leaders and politicians vigorously rejected the one that God had sent, similar to Jesus’ course.
With faithlessness blocking God’s Will, suddenly on June 6, 1946, God gave a new providential direction to Rev. Moon. He was to go to what was symbolic hell, Communist controlled North Korea. There he must restart his ministry under more severe circumstances, analogous to the “crucifixion course.”
As you will see in Section 2, he gained many followers. But under severe persecution by the Communist government and eventual imprisonment, most all his followers fled.
Ultimately he was unjustly arrested and then sentenced to five years hard labor in a notorious death camp.
In Section 3, you will read testimonies from his imprisonment in the death camp. There he was so severely tortured several times that he was pronounced dead, only to be miraculously resurrected by God about three hours later. Satan cannot kill the Christ a second time.
Unbelievably in those circumstances, Rev. Moon gained twelve disciples willing to risk their lives to follow him. Those men restored the positions of the twelve disciples of Jesus who abandoned him at the cross.
Rev. Moon was 28 years old at the beginning of this time, which corresponds to Jesus ministry and crucifixion.
Section 4 is the bulk of this book and embodies many testimonies from the followers in the church that sprung up after the Korean War. Here are the life of faith stories of the most precious people of God on earth during those years, the Apostles of Christ.
